Jamshedpur, March 13: With the announcement of dates for
Lok Sabha elections, situations in political camps are gradually growing hotter
as veterans and the ambitious ones are vying for party tickets to Parliament.
Such seems to be the situation in the state BJP headquarters that is seeing
round the clock discussions on permutations and commutations for the fittest
candidates for the 14 Lok Sabha seats in Jharkhand.

This was the
reason that BJP state in charge Mangal Pandey was closeted with former chief
minister and party bigwig Arjun Munda for one hour to discuss various pros and
cons on ticket distribution. According to reliable sources, Mangal Pandey
informed Munda of the manner in which party leaders had been treated by the
Raghubar Das government.

The sources
have also informed that BJP state president and sitting parliamentarian from
the Singhbhum seat Laxman Gilua is also struggling for a LS ticket and chances
were that he might miss the party bus to Parliament this time around. There has
been talk of former state home secretary and current BJP state spokesman JB
Tubid getting a party ticket for the LS election. Tubid is on record as stating
that every party official had a desire to take a try at the hustings.

The 24×7
sessions at the BJP state headquarters is witnessing parleys on distribution of
tickets to candidates who can ensure wins. Today’s meeting was attended by
Mangal Pandey, Laxman Gilua, party’s state organization general secretary Dharm
Pal Singh and all BJP state LS constituency in charges. The major discussion at
this meet centered on the Singhbhum LS seat.
