Rajput Mahasabha supports Bandh on 6 Sept | Schools may be closed


Sakal Rajput Mahasabha Mewar will support the Bandh called on 6 Sept, in protest against the provisions of the SC-ST Act. This Bandh has been called for by members of the General category.

Tanvir Singh Krishnavat, founder of the Sakal Rajput Mahasabha Mewar presided over a meeting of the forum at Titardi today. The Rural Office of the forum is situated at Titardi and Rural President Gopal Singh Titardi said that the Rajput Mahasabha Mewar will support the Bandh.

Members of the general category have joined hands to protest against the amendments called for in the SC-ST Act by the government, as the elections come nearer.

Workers of the Mahasabha will get together at 9am at Surajpol Chauraha and observe a silent protest and request for Bandh.

Though the Bandh is expected to be peaceful, various schools have kept a day off tomorrow.
